"I run about 50 races a year, and the Hero to Heroes 5K is without question one of the finest, best organized and most unique 5k races in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware areas. It has all the flavor of a world class race, complete with private shuttle buses to the start, elite runners in the field, a fast and exciting point to point course, and very generous pre and post race amenities for everyone . Hero to Heroes attracts the top runners in the area, so the competition up front is always a factor. But every runner, fast or not so fast, is always treated like a world class runner. Most importantly, the race serves a wonderful cause and honors the memory of 3 local champions: by helping the families of three courageous firefighters who became heroes and role models for us all by making the ultimate sacrifice for others. This is a race well worth running. I dare you not to get goose bumps at the start and all along the Hero to Heroes course. It is a race made for both PRs and for truly honoring the triumph of the human spirit."

"I think your race will be one of biggest race not only in local area but in USA. Your 5K was very flat that good thing to realize good performance. Congratulation about good organization this year. See you next year."

"Teresa and I both enjoyed the race. You all did a very good job and we thought it was a good race. Teresa said the course is good, and the meaning of the race is very special. We were both unaware of the story behind it. Teresa said she liked how you honored the firefighters who died, and how the people there reacted towards the memorial race. She liked it very much and says she'll do her best to come back next year. She is wearing the race T-shirt today. I would also send runners next year, and might have brought more if I'd known the history and significance of the event. There was also lots of food afterwords, always a positive thing. My travel agent defines a good race as one with free beer. One with good food and free beer is a great race!"

"I want to thank you for putting on such a great race in October. This was my second Heroes To Hero 5k. It has become one of my favorite races."

I had a great time this year at the Hero’s run. It’s become an annual trip “back home” for me now that I look forward to so much every year. This year, I really thought the “message” and the story of why we were all there was loud and clear and reiterated more than ever. I was a friend of Tommy’s and appreciate hearing it and sharing with others here in FL what the Hero’s run is all about. Everything was wonderful. The transportation, sound system, signage, entertainment (the string band was a great touch this year), the participation of other police and fire departments, and most importantly…the free beer…every little touch was very well done. Did you make arrangements for the weather too?! Thank you for all you do. I can only imagine the countless hours spent on coordinating such an event.
See you next year!
